I fell asleep when they were down 10 with a few minutes left. Figured it was over anyways. Then finished the game this morning. I echo the other thoughts, nice to have some 3 point shooters other then KAT.

Defense will be this teams thing to work on of course next season, now. RPM - KAT and DLO are some of the worst in the league. KAT is 5th in offensive RPM. I think DLO is top 40 or so also in offensive RPM. Both severely negative on defense.

Juancho reminds me of Shabazz Muhammad in transition for all the wrong reasons.

That play where he ended up with a charge was partly on Russell for passing him the ball in that situation...but you are right it does remind me of Bazz. Juancho was bad in that first half.

James Johnson is either going to:

A.) Decline his $16-million player option for the 2020-21 season opening up money for someone else in free agency. Unlikely

B.) Considerably help the Wolves win more games in 2020-21 and perhaps beyond. Possible

C.) Bring back a potentially valuable asset at the trade deadline in 2020-21. Probable

D.) Be used for salary matching purposes in a larger trade this off-season. Possible

Any way you slice it, trading Gorgui Dieng for Johnson was a very savvy yet simple move.

What's the gimmick for survivor this year? Also can't wait for Naz to mature and get some old man moves in his game.

I'm not a Survivor guy. Never watched enough to get into it. I have, however, spent a ridiculous amount of time in watching MTV's The Challenge over the years. If you like that kind of reality TV I'd recommend that for sure. It's really grown over the years.

Love the challenge also. Im a reality game show junkie.

Josh Okogie is a reliable three-point shot away from being a Robert Covington-like player for Minnesota. That's not an easy thing to get overnight, but I just can't see him not becoming at least league average on solid volume. His mechanics are clean when he's set and he had really solid results at Georgia Tech.

Great observation, Cam. I agree with you completely. He's one of my keepers to continue building around along with KAT, DLO and Beasley. I remain convinced that we should re-sign J-Mac and Martin to Naz-like contracts. Nowell and Layman round out a pretty good low-cost bench, although I'd also keep Vanderbilt as a very intriguing talent long term for the SF position. I still think this team needs a really good defensive big to play alongside KAT, but I won't hold my breath. Bottom line is that it's actually fun to watch this team again, even when they lose. Even better when they win like tonight.

Okogie had a couple nice offensive possessions where he dribbled his way to the hoop. That take he had in the first quarter where he crossed over stuck the ball to the left and went past someone was like...whoa let's see some more of that. If he can shoot 3's at even 33 percent he is something inbetween Marcus Smart and Covington in how they play the game.

J-Mac so big tonight and so big in LAC win.......not sure how many teams will be after him due to size but we should lock him up even if it's slightly more than the Naz/Nowell deals. Rosas finding cheap talent is exactly how you round out a bench, feeling like we might finally be in good hands.

McLaughlin is also simply more of a threat to score. Tyus either didn't or basically had to pick his spots. McLaughlin is smaller but quicker and more athletic. He has dunks on people in real NBA games. I'm a big fan of Tyus but McLaughlin has some real NBA talent. Both guys are Also surprisingly able to defend.
