Yeah, but he's the only GM in the league who could put up with Thibs the coach.

Fair to say that I'm undecided. But I feel like as a Wolves fan I'm always leaning that way as I hold out hope each year that we'll finally see the fruit of our picks ripen by the end of the season. But each year I'm disappointed with the lack their of the development. That and also the poor picks we tend to make. After a while there I can't even remember watching a few years for a while after their playoff run. Heck we had J.R. Ryder, Christian Laettner, Ebi. It's about time we got a great pick (maybe not the best) but one who shows promise. I can't explain why this year "may be" different in that we picked actual promising players but it's looking that way. I must be eternally hopefully for our Wolves team.

Quite well said, Nollr...that summarizes the Wolves Experience to a T. Call me a naive sucker, but somehow I share the same feeling you expressed in your penultimate sentence. Take a look at my thread on that very topic.

FNG! You score again with Penultimate. Just what this board needs, more intellect and less chicanery.

Bring on the tank. Are we absolutely sure Karl-Anthony Towns' wrist and lungs are completely healthy? What about his mental health? We should bench him for 40 games to make sure he's good to go for next season...

The above is insincere, but like... also not. Minnesota needs every ping pong ball and some luck. Cade Cunningham is a franchise changer.

What I think is also interesting is that even when we're awarded the #1-3 picks in a year there's never "a true #1 pick", meaning its always take your dart and hope to hell you make the right decision. Does that make sense?

Ha, of course I thought of you when I threw out the "penultimate". Bonus points to you for "chicanery"!

I get why Cam would vote no. We all know he is going to defend his original position on anything to the death. But the other 5 who can vote no with a straight face make me wonder. Our guy has had trouble getting on the court since he's been here. When he has played he hasn't been anything but underwhelming. The Wolves stink with and without him on the court. I'm sincerely not sure if we are any better with him playing. We traded one bad contract for another. Wig is still Wig and we can debate forever who is the better asset between he and Russell. But gents, we also gave up critical draft assets! The next two NBA drafts are supposedly terrific for talent, and we are going to miss out on one of them. This poll question really shouldn't even have to be posed. I'm baffled anyone would still be in favor of the trade, unless your a Warrior fan.
