From The Athletic:
Minnesota has shown interest in power forwards around the league, including Atlanta's John Collins and Orlando's Aaron Gordon, sources said. Both players have significant asking prices in the marketplace. The Timberwolves had substantive conversations with the Magic on Gordon prior to his severe ankle sprain last month, sources said, and those talks are expected to resume as he nears his return to the floor.

The Raptors are making ground in the Eastern Conference, though Masai Ujiri & Co. continue to evaluate several scenarios ahead of the trade deadline. One of which involves Ricky Rubio, as the team would have interest in adding the point guard, sources tell FortyEightMinutes.com.

The high price for Aaron Gordon surprises me. If true my guess is that Olando likes him AND a number of teams have called. I wouldn't pay a high price for him and I like him.

I don't see how a trade works between these 2 teams without a 3rd team or more involved. The Raptors just don't have the right salaries to match up. My guess is they may look to move Lowry and get Rubio back as part of the package. At this point if the Wolves could save money for next year in the deal that would be be good enough. That deal hasn't worked out well at all. Rosas has shown some ability to make solid moves with these short term higher salary guys that are at least rotation level guys. I'm sure Rubio has more value than Dieng had when he was dealt.
