Also, didn't know that Brogdon was defensive player of the year in the ACC. 6'5" with a 6'10" wingspan, shooting 40% from 3. Ranked 33rd on DX Big Board...am I missing something? Other than he's a senior?
Edit: That's the kind of guy that screams role player that can come in and play good minutes early. He's played winning basketball on a good team for 3 years. I wish he was doing a little more in this game I'm watching but Virginia has gone to their "bigs" almost the entire game cause of the size disadvantage against Hampton.

Constantly in attack mode. And better than that, he gets a ton of calls and makes his FTs. That's a legitimate skill that could translate to the NBA. Saw a stat that compared how often he gets to the line to how often Harden does at the NBA. Much different talent levels, obviously, but the point was to illustrate how often he's at the charity stripe. It's impressive.

Watching Poeltl right now. The dude is more mobile than I remember. He really gets up and down the court quickly. He seems to have pretty quick feet in that regard. He's also directing a lot of traffic on the defensive end communicating with his teammates which is what good defensive anchors need to do to. He's definitely going to need to work on his conditioning. He was clearly getting winded while trying to keep up with the pace of play which led to some lazy offensive possessions. Overall I like what I see. He's a strong option to consider from 3 on.

Watching this Indiana easy win and Ogugua Anunoby looked like a nice player. I know he is unlikely to come out this year but he makes me want to tune in for Indiana's next game.

Really tough to judge him watching this game though. These guys haven't seen a player like him before and you can tell they just aren't used to coming up against that sort of length.

I will say that while Murray pressed a bit on some of his shots, he threw a couple of nice passes. You can see how he has some playmaking skills.

Obviously not the toughest of competition, but they've done a good job of shutting down Murray and more-so impressed he's challenging shots without fouling (only one foul so far)
Murray has been relatively horrendous tonight. Just looks out of rhythm to me. If he was anything close to his normal self shooting wise this game would absolutely be over.

Dunn struggling tonight too. 2-7 from the field and really not impacting the game he usually does. The more I watch both the Wolves and college prospects, the more I'm inclined to go big in the draft (Poetl).

All aboard the Jakob train. He didn't even play that great (for him) tonight and ended up with a 16 point, 18 reb, 4 ast night.
