If Dunn proves to be exceptional during the course of the season, then we're positioned to deal Ricky during next summer's draft.

Exactly! Cross your fingers that both Dunn and Rubio show improvement on their shooting, it'll only improve the return when one gets traded!

It's unreal. Have an awesome team every year and get rewarded with such value late in the first

Tibs obviously targeted Dunn and wouldn't give up Lavine in a deal for Butler apparently. He's gotta say they can play together. Dunn has the size to play SG but his value is at PG. Rubio will want a trade. Problem is he doesn't have a ton of value around the league.

I don't get the sense that Thibs says things he doesn't really believe. One of the guys I talked to yesterday has been a friend of Thibs for years. He told me you'll never hear Thibs blowing smoke. He won't tell you things, but he doesn't blow smoke or play games when he talks. Whether or how well Dunn can play with Ricky depends on the extent to which Dunn improves his shot. The good news is that Dunn doesn't come into the League with a bad shot. He's a decent shooter with the potential to get much better. Two great ball-handlers who pass and see the floor really well like Ricky and Dunn could be a nightmare for opposing defenses when combined with Wiggins, KAT and Dieng. And keep in mind that Thibs didn't say he'd pair the two for 30 minutes + a game.

Dunn instantly becomes front-runner status to be our back-up PG. If Rick plays 32 minutes at PG, Dunn gets the remaining 16 while also potentially playing 10-12 minutes next to Ricky. All depends on how well Dunn performs in practice and then in games. As Thibs said a couple days ago, if a young player performs he plays. if Dunn can play right away it could help keep Rubio's minutes down and also protect from injury. Another thing to consider is with Dunn's length you can use Tyus next to him as a shooter...if Tyus can hit 3's.

If the Spurs Spurs up Murray that's a great pick.

The Warriors are probably going to let Festus go with that pick
