I think that's a fair comment, khans...I agree that Dunn is a playmaker and that it's his decision making that needs attention. Some of the video I saw of him made him look almost Bazz-like with his 1 on 3 charges. I agree that fixing this flaw is easier than teaching someone to be a playmaker, but it's going to take time. And Dunn's 1.77 assist to turnover ratio in college is almost certain to get even worse when he goes up against better NBA defenders.
I'm excited about Dunn and on board with picking him at 5, but I don't see him getting to Ricky's level for a few years...if ever.

There also has to be a consideration that his Providence team last year was pretty much just him and Bentil so he was likely forced to force the issue at times. I don't think it's a huge consideration, but I'm also curious how he looks on a team where he has more than 1 good teammate. I could see his assist rate go up a little bit and his turnover rate go down a little bit just from playing with better players he can trust. Then we just have to coach the rest of the poor decisions out of him.

Yeah, the same thought crossed my mind during an optimistic moment today. I only watched Providence once or twice last season, so I can't speak to how good they were. If they just weren't a very good team, it could be that Dunn's turnovers were inflated. We'll have to see how he looks next to some of the talented players the Wolves have. I'm hoping that his numbers at Providence were hurt by the quality of his teammates.
Thibs was on Mike & Mike this morning. It starts shortly after the 40 minute make. It's worth a listen. Thibs does mention KAT, Wiggins and Zach together, and then says "add in" Shabazz, Gorgi, Nemanji and Ricky. So he does mention all the guys, and then mentions adding to the team through free agency.
John Salley has to start the segment by rescinding his previous "KAT needs to get out of Minnesota" comment.
A piece that did not make the podcast was Mike talking about just a handful of coaches that are difference makers. He gave Pop and Brad Stevens as examples. And he said Thibs is one, too. He expects a "phenomenal" season for the Wolves...

Thanks for mentioning this Tim it was a good listen. If you listen to hour 3 it has the whole thing including Mike's comments.
Has anyone else seen this video of Towns talking me to Ingram Buddy and Dunn? Towns could have his own talk show right now and it would be a hit. Unbelievably talented individual.

This might be the most preposterous statement I've ever read on this board. Dunn was my #1 talent available and I think he's got a chance to be special....but to suggest Rubio's been making it TOUGHER for his teammates to score is flat out ridiculous and the facts don't back it up.
