I agree about Davis TRKO. Haven't seen him much but he seems to have the high upside and skills to really fit playing along side KAT. I have no problem taking a guy with high upside and waiting a couple years.

Yeah, he definitely is intriguing from a fit perspective in that he could do a lot of the dirty work in terms of getting boards and blocks in the paint, without having to score a bunch. But....it will take a few years.

I could see us trading down for him with a team that really wants Dunn or Murray and land another asset, like a future protected 1st or a couple 2nds.

He's one of my favorite prospects. While not as athletic as Noel, he is a disruptive force defensively, and has the agility to guard out on the perimeter and to contain in the PnR. Davis projects to have more upside on the offensive end than Noel does, and would fill our biggest need at PF and on the boards. Watch how quick he gets off of his feet on both his first and second jumps. He also tends to stay straight up and down when denying a post player and has excellent closeout ability on mid range-3pt range jumpers.

My trade above was #5 and Payne for #8 and Casspi. Casspi and Davis would be a nice haul at draft time.

Chriss is another option who can play PF or small-ball PF. He shows 3pt range, great athleticism, and an overall great feel offensively, but he is lost on defense often and doesn't exactly rebound well. He hasn't been playing long, but I doubt he contributes as much immediately as Davis would.

Sabonis would be my 2nd choice after Davis at #8. Though he's only an above-average defender, he fights and isn't a liability. He's extremely good on the boards, on the block offensively, and has nice form on his jumper. He's the highest floor/lowest ceiling of the bunch.

There is always the option that one of Dunn, Murray, or Hield drops to #8 too. We'd have a lot of options with a trade like this, and would guarantee some productivity for next year with a good rotation vet.

The Kings would give a lot for Dunn, they would drool at the possibility of pairing him with Cousins. It does seems this is the common theme of the draft so far. Which Is why I hope we some how end up with him.

I'm not sure they would do that. Not saying Seth is very good, but I thought even just Casspi was a close call. He plays within an offense, shoots 40% from 3pt on 4 attempts a game, and rebounds well. At 6'9 he plays SF and would be an option as a small ball stretch 4. I'd love to have him here.

What do you think they would part with? WCS is only a dream. Koufos seemed like to big of an ask in return as a quality healthy C on a 7.5mil contract over the next 4 years. Casspi and McLemore seemed too high as well. Casspi seems like the perfect combo of value + skill that we could get/want.

You don't believe Casspi is a good enough haul to move them up 3 spots? 12 pts, 6 rebs, 1.5asts with a good 3pt stroke would do wonders for our bench. He is only signed for another year or two, so that could give pause.

Seth does have 5 years on Tyus Jones. I'd prefer to keep Jones.

Casspi isn't a great player, but he'd immediately help our bench which is a big need. He provides 3pt shooting that is a big need. He's not a starter here, but he would be our 6th-8th best player right away.

My main point is that I do not see a big difference in boom/bust potential between Murray/Hield//Dunn/Sabonis/Davis/Brown/Poeltl/Chriss/Ellenson range so I would would prefer to pick up a role player along the way.
