There is no better way to qualify your statement than to say it is itself, crazy sauce.

There's a difference between shooting off the dribble and off the catch. Your PG has to be able to shoot off the dribble as a major part of his arsenal so it's hard to say plug in any of these catch and shoot guys like Hield and Murray and they'd do fine at PG. Zach is better at the 2 because he is a much better catch and shoot guy who can be a secondary ball handler, but the main action of the play should not be throw him in a PnR and have him make a play. The same goes for Hield and Murray. If you aren't that guy in college as the primary ball handler making the proper play in the PnR and you're mostly getting your points off catch and shoot then it's hard to say you can be a good PG at the NBA level. Zach isn't a good PG at this level because of his skill set and it looks a lot like the skill set of Hield and Murray and some of the other spot up shooters of this draft.
Respectfully disagree that he's purely a pull up shooter and his game against Kansas proved that, granted in the video they say he can use improvement in the PG instincts, but he's no slouch, and at 6'4", 212 I like his size and more importantly, his attitude.

Which KU game are you talking about because I watched one of them and Cousins was the primary ball handler/PG and Hield was jacking up 3's off the catch and shoot? He had a couple drives to the hoop, but he was mostly jacking up shots set up by his good off ball movement and his teammates finding him. I'm not saying he's only a spot up shooter. I'm saying that's going to be his bread and butter. I don't see a world were all of a sudden he becomes an off the dribble force and that's what he's known for when he's not that player in college. Steph was that player in college which is why it makes sense he's that player in the NBA. Hield like Murray isn't the PG for his own team in college so why is he going to be a good PG at the NBA level? A top 10 pick should net us a starter if we use it right and I don't think either Murray or Hield will be better than Ricky. This draft reminds me a lot of the Rivers/Waiters draft where some of the top guards are tweeners who don't have very good PG skills and they don't have great size to be 2's either.

The video breaks down his game where had 48 against Kansas. I guess I'm interested in starting 2 combo guards, or two Lavines if you will with good size and good range. The Ricky experiment has run it's course imo.

The more I read about him. I would be tempted to take him if we fall past 5 He is overrated and looks like he would plug right in with what we have here. Simmons looks like he would be a disaster here.
Excited to watch Wade Baldwin play Kentucky in their next game. He shit the bed the first game against them, but I like the kid. Springy and shifty, but seems to play a traditional PG role. Way too much of a stretch where we will be picking and I probably wouldn't draft him over Dunn at this point but I think he is going to be good. Hope they can sneak into the tournament.

I like Baldwin. I could see him and Sabonis rising up the boards. He is 2 years younger than Dunn and still 19. He already certainly a better shooter.
So we land the 5th pick in the draft, Kmart has let us know that he is opting in, Milwaukee calls and offers Greg Monroe and the 10th pick for Kmart and the 5th pick. Do you accept?
Rubio Jones
LaVine Valentine/Hield
Wiggins Shabazz
Monroe Bjelica
KAT Dieng

Tough one. I probably wouldn't do it. I would take Ellenson and shop for a wing in FA. I don't see a wing I would want at the 10th spot at this time. I like Monroe, but he is limited.
