Give me Gafford or give me death.

Claxton or Gafford would be my clear choice, but I don't see either one falling to #43. Maybe Rosas can deal Culver to trade up in the second round on the chance that he MIGHT get either one. :)

As much as I'm not a fan of the Culver fit, if we get an upside pf in the second like gafford or claxton, I'd consider this a good draft.

I don't think Culver is the perfect prospect....but the fact that many on this board are absolutely CERTAIN that a guy in Garland (that played 5 meaningless games) will be better than a young player that actually lead one of the most talented teams in the country seems a bit disingenuine.

It's not disingenuine. It's just my assessment of Culver and Garland. Kyrie Irving was the 1st pick in the NBA draft after playing not too many more college games than Garland. I might turn out to be wrong. I sure hope so. Garland was widely regarded as the 4th best player in the draft with a few rating his as low as #6. I guess I should take some solace in the fact that Culver was widely regarded as a top 6 talent in this draft. But his stats and my eye test strongly suggest he was grossly overrated. Again, I hope I'm wrong.

Lots of options I like still available. I'll take a big or anyone with some upside. It feels like we could end up with a guy at #43 that I feel as good as I did about KBD.

Well, not surprisingly, Claxton is off the board. Gafford will be gone soon. I absolutely think the Wolves should trade a future 2nd round pick along with 43 to move up for Gafford. But what we'll see what chess-master Rosas comes up with.

Seems like a big man would make sense. Bruno Fernando, Eric Paschall, Bol Bol, Jontay Porter?
