According to Doogie (SKOR North podcast), one player and his agent is considering not working out for the wolves because they believe the Rui promise is real.

With Clarke and Little scheduled to workout, I dont think its those 2.

I guess I'll have to cling to the fact that Doogie isn't a reliable reporter.

6.5 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 0.9 steals in 30 minutes per game in college as a 6'9 Junior PF screams mediocrity. Drafting Hachimura at #11 would be a continuation of this organization's long history of stupidity. And it would cement my initial impression of Rosas as a guy who hit his ceiling as a 17-year ministerial assistant in Houston.

got to think its a smoke because some of the teams behind us have been linked to rui while the guy that fits the "defense mantra" that rosas and saunders have been preaching during the presser is dropping.

The wolves need defense and shooting; rui is neither of those.

FWIW but Sam seems pretty legit in his draft work. This was in response to someone asking him what he thinks about the rumored promises.

"I think teams and agents are getting smarter about leaking "promises" to either drum up interest in their client or misdirect other teams on what their plans are."
