Howard Vanterpool and Finch. This seems like an actual serious search (for an upcoming guy anyway) especially with Finch now included since has worked with Rosas before. Just wait till we get a new G-league coach!!! Lol

I don't know anything about them. But my buddy texted me saying Finch specializes in modern Big man offense.

He was in Denver before going to NO. I watched a few minutes of a video (42 mins long) of him showing how they use the corner offense as a base to do what they did I think in Denver. He coached Luol Deng on the England National team like 10 years ago. Lol

And like Cam said if Saunders gets the job, he had to work for it and we legit went through the process and there was no clear better option for HC. Makes me feel better about Saunders if he does get the job

Exactly. That's all I wanted, for Ryan to earn it and not just be handed it because of his dad. Hopefully Rosas is listening to what everybody can bring, especially as it relates to improving the team around Towns

You know someone else this could be good for? Ryan Saunders. If he got the job without a search in the back of his mind he probably would have something telling him he got this job he didn't completely earn it even if to one extent or another he had. I'm guessing he has sat down with Rosas maybe basically interviewed for the job already. (speculation time because this is a message board) MAYBE Rosas would have given him the job if he was absolutely blown away by Ryan. Maybe he feels really strongly about him but felt he needed to compare options. Heck what if Ryan told him he absolutely wants the job but if someone is legitimately a better hire go look for that guy because Ryan just wants the franchise to win and be better. This is gonna be more interesting than expected...which is probably a good thing. It's like we are doing t like a real organization should.

Are any of these guys someone that has had any influence on defense? I've always been a fan of Darvin Ham.
