Hahahaha Haha Hahahaha. The Knicks are such a joke. They're dumping Porzingas to Dallas for cap space this summer and Smith.

Wow.

At least the Knicks are getting off those Lee and Hardaway contracts. Dallas will still be able to compete, and now they have two young blossoming stars. Not sure how Porzingis is going to come back from that knee injury, but if he gets back to form, the combo of Luka and Prozingis is definitely going to be a fun team to watch.

On one hand, this can't help them land a big name free agent. Who would want to go play for such a terrible team. On the other hand, they must be opening up a TON of cap space. If any two superstars want to team up in New York, it's there for the taking. Interesting.

These 2 are trying to will this team to wins, weve seen it in their numbers and their effort on the court. They are keeping the team afloat with guys like Deng, Bayless, Okogie, Terrell getting big minutes. I think thats a pretty big improvement from guys who just get theirs. I just dont think they are getting enough help, so they are losing and people are just passing it off as young guys being unable to win.

I think health is our biggest issue as well as the pecking order, not talent.

Weve seen it twice in Bayless' starts that at the end of the game, the ball goes with him. Rose? Same thing.

If this is KATs team, the players sure dont know it unless the coach is deliberately calling for pg action. We should be letting KAT and Wiggs dominate the ball at the end of games with everyone hurt and giving them as many reps as possible in those situations. Just because they couldnt do it 3 years ago as 20 year olds, doesnt mean they can't get better.

KAT leads the team in Net Rating, which he's never done before (although he was close last year), so it's nice to see that his On/Off impact is starting to catch up to his box score stats.

As for Wiggins, someone has to take shots and put pressure on the defense. He does this, albeit ridiculously inefficiently. But there simply are no other options right now outside of he and KAT, so his value is that he allows other guys to stay in their lane and hopefully maximize their impact as role players.

Honestly I think this could be a good trade for both teams. Dennis Smith Jr could be a nice player for NY and they could maybe even get something for Matthews and Jordan before the deadline. Dennis Smith JR and frank'n Could make a lot of sense together. I wonder what the Knicks do with Mudiay now. The question now is do the Knicks do something worthwhile with their cap space or do they waste it on the next Hardaway type player.

Looks like Porzingis is teaming up with Luka. They're going to be a fun duo if Porzingis can stay healthy.

Now we have to hope Porzingas leaves after next year. He is said to take the QO instead of going into RFA. That could kill the Mavs if he would leave. No pick this year, 2021 and possibly 2023.

I love the gamble though for the Mavs

Man, this city is not taking this Porzingis news well.

If they sign Durant + some other superstar, it proves location does matter. If not, God help Knicks fans.

Make you wonder if the Knicks would of taken Butler for KP.

I doubt it. They got cap relief, a 2nd year lotto pick player, the next unprotected pick (so a top 5 pick this year or an unprotected pick in 2021 in the possible double draft), then another top 10 protected 2023 1st.

I actually like the deal assuming Porzingas wanted out of NY

A risky trade with potential high reward for both teams. A healthy porzingis/luca combo is going to be dangerous for years. Knicks could use the space to land 2 all stars and have future picks and young players as assets.
