What has changed with Nate McMillan on board? Defense for one thing. Man, it helps when you can get stops. They are top 10 in all four of the defensive four-factors.

And Sabonis should be a legit 6th man of the year contender. He is ridiculously efficient in the 25 MPG he plays. A lot of us liked him as a draft prospect a few years ago and he is starting to mature into a really good big man.

Q... you're gonna hate this though... the Pacers shoot fewer three pointers than... wait for it... wait....... the Wolves.

Only Cleveland makes fewer three pointers than they do.

[Note: Yeah. That defense though is legit.]

Playing consistently great defense erases a lot of warts on offense.

Remember when nearly everyone was like...why are the Pacers hiring Nate McMillen as their coach? It seems like that franchise went from being a bit of a joke to near genius. It turns out that Pritchard might be a pretty smart PBO.

That George trade has turned out crazy good for both sides.

At the time, Indiana was ripped even when it was assumed George wouldn't stay in OKC. Well, he stayed and is playing excellent right now... and Sabonis and Oladipo are entirely new types of players in new roles with a new team.

It's actually sort of cool when a trade works out better than expected for both sides.

That trade was obviously big but they really did a heck of job last offseason. Signed Collison for what was a pretty good contract and they he played really well. They signed Bogdonovic to what some people thought was too much money. He is outperforming that contract. They got Corey Joseph for basically nothing. This last offseason they didn't exactly knock it pit of the park like they did last year but they still added some worthwhile players.

Looks like wall is out for the year.

They could really use one of our pgs.

But do they really need Teague? They won last night and Satoransky and Randle handled the point and scored 31 points between them. Satoransky also had 6 assists and only one TO in 33 minutes. I suspect they want to play the season out with those 2 at PG and assess where they are going forward without Wall.

Satoransky is a guy that it's kinda bizarre he doesn't play more. What was their record last year when they played without Wall wasn't it plenty decent? Wasn't Troy Brown Jr supposed to be a guy that could do a lot of stuff including handle the ball? To me it's interesting they did the Ariza trade knowing Wall was having these heal issues. I suppose they could deal Ariza at the deadline if they really struggle.

Yeah, I don't see them wanting one of our PGs. I think they might just punt this season and may be look at a larger overhaul this summer. Having a lottery pick would help with that process.
