What will the Sixers do next? Morey has always been aggressive. This offseason is gonna be interesting.

Congrats to Trae Young. Shut the media up about the Luka trade.

3 straight years of drafts of Huerter, Collins and Young came up huge tonight. Good drafting can change a franchise

Yup. Hard to see them running it back next year. Last year it a first round exit; this year 2nd round despite one of the best records in basketball.

Capela....what a pickup by Atlanta. So key in at least containing Embiid and being an ally oop receptacle for Trae Young. All those years with Harden made him such a good target for Trae's passes.

I'm guessing they go hard after Lillard or Beal but Simmons might of just killed his value way too much

Can't help but be happy to see Atlanta win this one. As kek wrote, it's hard not to root for this team.

Trae Young, Devon Booker and Paul George. The best player on three of the four conference finalists are a point guard, shooting guard and small forward. All of them are prolific scorers and terrific ball-handlers who can score going to the hole and from behind the arc. Interestingly, only one of the three is considered an elite defender and one of them is considered a pretty bad defender. I'm so glad we have Ant.

Trae Young has Capella and Collins inside. Devon Booker has Ayton. I like our Ant-KAT tandem going forward.

They traded Evan Turner and Pokusevski for Capela. What a fucking trade

Capella is simply better at being a tim runner and setting screens etc. if Finch can actually get Towns to play like a big that would be a big development. Look at what Ayton was doing in the previous game.

KAT is a dominant low-post scorer. In that sense, he clearly plays like a big. He's not some soft perimeter guy who hangs out at the three point line. However, as you noted, his screening is poor and his rim-running is sub-par. But I think Finch can get him to improve in those areas. It will help to have guards like DLO and Ant who can facilitate.

I'm not a Trae Young fan because of his foul-baiting tactics (which disappeared in the playoffs when suddenly the refs decide to call the game differently), but you do have to admire how Atlanta - like Phoenix - made multiple smart draft picks and then just a perfect acquisition in Capela.

Thank goodness Rosas ended up with value with Beasley and 1 of the first round picks we made this year instead of taking back Capela. You are right It was a very good trade for Atlanta.
