Oh yeah, it's a coaching mismatch. It shows how dubious coach of the year awards are. They really play dumb a lot of the time. But another problem with the Bucks team is they don't shoot it as well as they did the previous couple years. Not having Divencenzo hurts, but I think they also miss George Hill, Kyle Korver, and Nikola Mirotic. Middleton can get hot, but they don't really have any consistent shooting. Holiday is an upgrade from Bledsoe but you can't count on him to shoot consistently. I cringe every time Giannis or Lopez let go with a 3 pointer. They have capable shooters but no one you know is going to give it to you most nights.

Yep. I've noticed the lack of shooting. They definitely miss the guys you mentioned. And Giannis should never shoot a three-pointer - not ever!

Perimeter shooting is so critical to success in today's NBA. And not just three point shooting. We've seen the importance of mid-range jump shots and floaters throughout these playoffs from Chris Paul, Booker, Trae Young, Kawhi Leonard and others.

Here's the rub... that's not even the version of the Bucks team that was envisioned.

Remember... Bogdonvavich was supposed to be in a Bucks uniform right now.

Really hoping the Clippers win tonight so I can stay up late enough to watch all of game 7.

I mentioned Atlanta's depth in an earlier post. How about the Suns' depth. They bring Bridges off the bench - an excellent 3-point shooter with length who can also defend rebound. Tonight we're getting a good look at Torrey Craig off the bench. Again, a guy who can shoot, defend and rebound.

I'm a Paul George fan, but has anyone else noticed how often he pushes off? He got away with it again on that last play. He's been doing it repeatedly throughout the playoffs but never gets called for it.

I think they have to call a flagrant on that last foul by Paul George. He didn't mean it, but he did smash his elbow into Booker's nose. Give that his nose is already broken, that must have hurt.

No flagrant. That's actually the fair call. Glad they didn't call a flagrant.

I love the way Chris Paul looks for any edge he can get. I remember when he pointed out to an official that one of our players had his shirt untucked. It resulted in a technical foul in a close game. I hated Chris Paul for that at the time, but I also admired it.

Sorry to keep writing about Chris Paul, but he's such and assassin. The way he's taken over to lead his team to a strong close-out to the 3rd quarter is vintage Chris Paul.

I'd love to have Terrance Mann on the Wolves roster.
