This one has been ugly early.
Monroe has been pretty rough
Wolves vs bulls GDT
Re: Wolves vs bulls GDT
Don't really know why I'm watching this has been bad. Haha
Re: Wolves vs bulls GDT
We had a total of 8 defensive rebounds that half. Wow.
Re: Wolves vs bulls GDT
Still watching. I really hope Balmaro can improve over the summer. That last 3 looked smooth, even with the funky form. Some internal improvements and a couple draft picks is what this team needs (at least 1 more big please!!!!)

He has been fantastic today!

Those pocket passes looked good by Balmaro. Wonder what if we had a high flyer for a pnr partner for him ?

They'd eventually figure him out. You try to make him the scorer - go under screens, bait him to try to finish, etc. He's still really unrefined as a scorer and shot maker.

He is also 6'7". I watched some highlights and obviously this game wasn't exactly the high level NBA players he was playing against and that one cut he made to get open I'm not sure what the Bulls were doing. He could have made a sandwich and ate it and still made the layup he was so so wide open. It sounds like he was part of the comeback and it's nice to see him do some good things at the NBA level even against bench players.
I think an offseason where he plays with NBA players would be good for him. I think one of the underrated things about players coming over from international play is that they haven't played against guys and know their tendencies. Sure you can do film work but there is something about having played against and with guys and having a knowledge back of how that looks first hand. It's unlikely he will be playing many minutes in the NBA season based on the roster the Wolves have now. That's not a bad thing.
It's nice to see Layman have a little success. He seems like a good dude and I think an actual decent end of the bench NBA player. He will have no problem finding a place that will pay him to play basketball. His NBA career is certainly in jeopardy.
