Minnesota has 10 games remaining. Denver has 11 games left to play.
If they both finish 50-32, for example, the Wolves will get the sixth-seed. That's not even taking into account their matchup on April 1st. Minnesota owns multiple tie-breakers. They'll either have the head-to-head tie breaker with a win, or they'll have the better division record with a loss. It's mainly about the final win-loss record. Unfortunately, the Nuggets have the easier schedule the rest of the way.

I just decided not to watch this one later since the tourney is happening and I have some other things to get done this weekend. So I checked the score. I admit to being pretty pleasantly surprised.
I replied to this post because one thing that stuck out to me the other night with Knight is that while he isn't the big center type this team needs...dude is pretty big and for his size he moves really well and is athletic. Also the skill level he has with the ball is really nice. Idk if he will ever develop enough as a player to utilize that handle he has but I like it. Like others have said recently I like he has some edge and sure he could but usually he also gets fouled too. He plays like he is gonna do something. He doesn't play scared which probably is a good and bad thing.
I'm looking forward to this stretch of games for the Wolves and my faith in this team continues to grow.
A few little things that was trademark '21-22 Wolves-ian (in mostly a good way this year):
- The DLO to McLaughlin slow motion give and go has become their trademark play. They try that almost every game and it nearly always ends in an easy layup for J-Mac.
- Vando getting the ball dislodged from his poor hands, only for him to leap high in the air to tip it in for the easy bucket. Classic!
- PBev setting the tone early by being the first to get involved in the mini-scuffle. This team is confident enough now that they can withstand a Beverley ejection....might have even fired us up a bit.
- Wolves playing a team without its best player (I know, a win is a win and the Bucks are still really good, but this is getting downright silly).
- KAT milking his injury for all its worth. He has to make sure the fans know how much he's laboring out there in pain. Classic KAT drama move, but I'm used to it now. He played a hell of a game.
- As Volans said earlier, how refreshing is it to see a Wolves team that can just blow away an opponent with its shooting. So fun to watch!

Those are some really nice passes. I love seeing that kind of basketball with the simple easy play between a couple guys.
We play Dallas 2 of our next 3 games. We are 2 back as of now and if they lose will be 1.5 back. We win the next three games we may jump them and Denver possibly.
