I apologize. Obviously, it's all MY fault.

Post by AbeVigodaLive »

As most here know... I've watched A LOT of Timberwolves basketball. And I've watched A LOT of very bad Timberwolves basketball over the years. Almost every game.* We all have our opinions on why the Wolves have been so bad, whether it's soft players, terrible ownership, laughable GMs or whatever.

But those aren't the reasons. I know the real reason. It's my fault. Consider the evidence:

*October 20, 2021 -- AbeVigodaLive misses almost the entire game due to Comcast issues. The Wolves lead by 27 points at halftime and cruise to victory.

*November 20, 2021 -- AbeVigodaLive misses the entire game. The Wolves lead by 29 points at halftime and cruise to victory.

I'm sorry. I will now retire from watching Timberwolves basketball. Enjoy your championships.

Don't know what to tell you Abe, but you indeed could be the mysterious curse that has loomed over this franchise all these years!

The Memphis game was by far their most complete performance and satisfying win. That's a team that despite rebuilding since the grit-and-grind days, continued to have their way with us. And of course Tyus Jones learned how to hit open 3's on their roster, heaven forbid that happening while with the Wolves for four seasons!

A few of us pessimists expected the all-too-typical let down after their Sacramento win. That hasn't happened, and if anything, they appear to be gaining momentum. Tonight will either be a continuation of that trend or a bucket of cold water in our face! In other words, please don't watch the game! Same with you doper!

It's a Monday night. And 18 degrees.

Shirley, I'll have many many other things to do instead tonight.

I'd just like to point out that while I have 21 fewer posts than thedoper... I have a whopping four more + votes.

Efficiency FTW.

Suck on that, doper.

Worst nickname for Q ever...I'm staying with "the Q-ster".

Abe recheck the weather forecast. I'm seeing 28 degrees at tipoff in Minneapolis (assuming that is close to your locale)...perfect temperature for a 2 1/2 hour evening walk.

Here's one metric we can use: In order to get your Likeability quotient, divide the number of likes you have by the number of posts. My ratio is .48%. Sounds relatively low.

It's just that low because you're Timberwolves poster. If you signed with different team Miami that baby would shoot up 10% along with your 3pt shot as well. Part of the curse man smh.
