Ricky Rubio

Post by Porckchop »

Nice to see him continuing his stellar play from this summer. Solid numbers across the board for him so far.

I cannot improve my face but Ricky has shown the fortitude to improve his offensive game. Not many perimeter players can do that 10 years into their careers.
Let me see your face Jester, I'll let you know if I find it pleasing.

Rubio with - and I'm not kidding here - 37 points off the bench for Cleveland in a big win at New York. He was 13-19 from the floor and 8-9 from 3. He did this in 31 minutes of action.

The Cavs are now 7-4 and Ricky is a big part of their success, having played the 4th most minutes on the team.

Did he finally decide to just start passing the ball into the hoop?

Rubio has the best plus/minus among all starters and rotational players getting 11 minutes or more on the Cavs. He's also on the floor as a closer in most games. I'm not sue Ricky is just "along for the ride" as Camden asked in another thread. I think Ricky and Mobley are two key additions as not much else has changed and Sexton is off to a poor start.

As we all expected oh, the first player in NBA history to score 30+, 10 or more assists, and 8 threes made off the bench in NBA history
