If the Nets buy him out, he'll probably look to latch on to a title contender. But he'd be a nice addition to the Wolves as a veteran backup center or a starting center with KAT shifting to PF.

Jordan is so washed, no thank you there

I don't think so, kek. He had 7.5 rebounds in only a little over 20 minutes per game last season. He's big and I think he still has some game in him. I think he could make sense for the Wolves on a minimum or near-minimum short-term contract.

But is he washed, kek? He's averaged over 20 MPG the past two seasons for Brooklyn, and last year averaged 12.3/12.3 with almost 2 blocks per 36. His ORtg was 127 and his DRtg was 111 with a TS of 64%...not much to scoff at there, not to mention a guy getting 20 minutes on Brooklyn should be able to crack the stacked Wolves rotation ;-). Now since I have a reputation of citing on/off stats, I will point out that his on/offs last year were not good. He's not coming here, but 20 minutes of Jordan next to KAT wouldn't be half bad.

I don't have any interest in DeAndre Jordan at this point in his career. I think he's lost a lot of physical ability simply due to age and accrued mileage. He looked like he was lumbering around last year when I watched him.

It's just another sign of where the Wolves are as a franchise.

Jordan didn't get off the bench for the last 6 weeks of the season (and playoffs) as a healthy scratch for the Brooklyn Nets. And the team has been clear that he's not in their plans at all this season.

I have to ask myself...If Jordon is useful at all why are the Nets (hey one of those contenders!) dumping him for nothing? They have no center of they move on from him. They didn't play him much last year. He might still have something left but I think he might basically be done. I would pass at this point.

Dennis Smith Jr. signed a non-guaranteed deal with Portland and will compete for a roster spot in training camp. Glad someone gave him a shot and I think he could stick there for a year.

He will be ready to step into the void when Portland trades Lilliard for Ben Simmons! Genius! :)

I hope DSJ well. It will be interesting to see if Billups and his staff show the ability to develop worthwhile players like Stotts did. It seems like Billups might be good at working with guards at least.

Clint Capella with a 2 year 46 million extension so he is now signed for 4 total years. It will be interesting to see if that kind of money Jarrett Allen and Capela signed for is the market value for players like that the next few years.
