Even though I have ended up defending him far too often... DeRozan seems like a bit of an overpay for Chicago.
Then again, he's a decent floor raiser and maybe the Bulls are happy with just making the playoffs. They'll have a lot invested in that backcourt. Interestingly, LaVine will be the lowest paid guy there... at least for this season.
Edit: Actually, I forgot about Caruso. That makes things even more interesting. That's 4 legit players the Bulls will have. Two of them are pretty good defenders.
[Note: And as noted by others... the +/- stuff will be a hoot with DeRozan and LaVine. FNG's head might explode regardless of the outcome.]

Restricted free agent Talen Horton-Tucker has agreed to a three-year, $32M deal to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agents @KlutchSports CEO Rich Paul and Lucas Newton tell ESPN.

Nunn took less money (Knicks offered more) to play for the Lakers

Imagine how this forum would respond if the Wolves landed a 25-year old with these stats:
14.6 ppg
48.5% fg
38.1% 3fg
3.2 reb
2.6 apg
0.6 VORP
29.5 mpg
He'd be a centerpiece of the team, right? And the Lakers get him for only $5M.
WOW.
____
I mean we've mostly considered Malik Beasley one of the team's better contracts at $15M... even though he's been suspended and in jail.
19.6 ppg
44.0% fg
39.9% 3fg
4.4 reb
2.4 apg
0.4 VORP
32.6 mpg

It will be interring to to see how much Terrance Mann gets.
The dust hasn't settled yet but it seems like the Lakers have done a pretty nice job of adding guys around the big 3 or whatever. Oh and Carmelo finally gets to play with Lebron. :)
It's a bit amusing that the Laker and Sixers essentially traded backup centers Howard and Drummond.

Interesting how teams are just blowing past the luxury tax line. Most franchises including ours can't do that. But those who can are going to have a competitive advantage, and it looks to be widening. Is there any hope for a hard capped league.

Can't or won't?

Good question. I'd say some of each

Watching team's that were already way better than Wolves making moves to get better is interesting. The Wolves have to sit on their hands and watch. How will this team make the playoffs again? The team's ahead of them will be better.
