How quickly things turn for Wolves fans.

Hope we enjoyed our one "fun" season in the last decade-and-a-half.

Yup, the season could be a real death march, then onto Rebuild Gen5.0 after Thibs gets fired.

Last season wasn't even that fun. I knew that we couldn't max out both KAT and Butler so we had to choose, plus with Wiggins regression the hope to be a contender devolved us into mediocrity with no chance to get more talent. Our last bullet, Butler must be used on someone or potential pick/s now to attempt to build a winner.

My idea of fun isn't sneaking into the 8th seed. I guess different strokes for different folks.

I was being facetious.

Last season was a grind on the floor and on the forum. Very few were happy like you'd think we'd be to finally win more than 1/2 of the games.

That is unfortunate...I can think of three games I genuinely walked away entertained and very satisfied:

1. The December 27th win at home against Denver in OT. I was at that game with my Dad and son. Very entertaining and everyone left happy.

2. The "play-in" game against Denver, which broke the playoff drought curse.

3. The Game 3 win against Houston

We also have to remember the 29 other home court wins we had. Many a casual fan walked away from those games happy and entertained. Die-hards on this board, many of whom don't actually go to games, don't seem to appreciate the importance of being able to win at home. That matters on a lot of fronts.

The home entertainment value brings up another angle that sort of accompanies the trend toward favorite players over favorite teams among today's growing fanbase...

Didn't the NBA implement a rule that teams can't blatantly rest healthy players in road games... but it's fine to do so in home games... I mean why should the local, loyal fans get any sort of advantage at all in today's league?

That rule stumps me to no end.

Well, look at you Mr. Overachiever. Not only did you predict wins, but you also predicted losses. That's ballsy (hat tip).
