Re: DLO
With everyone making cap clearing deals, a small part of me thinks rosas overshot his landing again, much like trying to trade up for garland.

So, when does Andrew add Minnesota bad to his social media profiles? I wonder if his max contract will make knowing he is unwanted feel any better?
Re: DLO
I would of bet against him being able to trade anyone of the 3 albatrosses we're currently carrying. Tough to trade 1st rounders imo. I'm glad he's showing some restraint. All I know is he inherited a terrible capped out roster. Wasn't gonna fix it in one offseason. We're better off losing this year again. Smh

It's just to make it look like we are less desperate to make the move. ;)
Another somewhat optimistic take is maybe they can make a move to give Russell a less than Max deal but not a full max. So Russell is going to see what the Lakers will actually offer and see where to go from there.
Re: DLO
The longer we dont get dlo signed by moving contracts, the more unlikely we are going to get him. If it has strong chance of happening, it would have happened already.
Look at the heat with butler. 1 meeting and its done. I understand we are in a tough spot as wig, teague and dieng are hard contracts to move but if it is really happening, then it would have been done already. Its clear, Dlo wants to be here. Gave us the first meeting even when we have zero cap space. But it just couldnt be done.

I think Rosas has Russell in pocket already and he's looking at what else he can do with the roster before he flicks the rest of the dominoes.

It is starting to look like it won't happen. I can't understand the difficulty trading Teague. He's a very solid vet PG on an expiring deal. He's a good 3-point shooter and is known as a good teammate. The Nets traded Allen Crabb in the final year of his $18 million per year contract. The Nets gave up two non-lottery 1st round picks, but also got Taurean Prince back. Teague's a better player at a more important position. The Wolves should be able to deal Teague without giving up more than 1 lottery-protected 1st and getting a 2nd round pick in return.
