Yeah...so he considered whether to come out or stay in school another year. He talked to his family etc and made the decision to go to school one more year. So he calls up Tom Izzo and tells him he is forgoing declaring for the draft and then tells him he plans on transferring...silence..."Just kidding coach I'm coming back for my last year at MSU." According to jon k, wolves are looking at Brandon Clarke, Sekou Doumbouya, Nasir Little as targets at 11. He also thinks they'll look hard at trading the pick in some facet.

My pick among those three at #11 would be Doumbouya because I think he has the biggest upside and is the one potential star in that group. Clarke would be my second choice - in spite of his short arms. :) I think Clarke can become a Shawn Marion type SF if he extends his shooting range. I'm not excited about Nasir Little. But I'm open to learning more.

I can't envision a need-moving realistic trade for that pick. I can see trading down with Boston or the Nets to get two first round picks in exchange for our #11 pick. Maybe the Wolves can package #11 with Covington and/or Saric to move up to get Garland. Otherwise, Rosas needs to hang onto the #11 pick and find the future all star that hasn't been taken yet. There will be at least one such player. Rosas is saying all the right things. But so did David Kahn. I expect Rosas to take his job beyond the rhetoric and talk about alignment. I expect him to step up and make exceptional A-grade decisions in the draft and free agency. If he can make a great trade that lands Bradley Beal or the next Chauncey Billups, then even better. But I don't want to see Rosas trade the #11 pick for a solid veteran role player or an aging all star in his 30s.

Good one, Monster. :) Trading up for a better pick or down for two 1st rounders could make sense and I'm glad Rosas is looking at both options. I just don't want to see the Wolves end up without adding at least one 2019 first-round pick to the roster this summer - unless we can package our pick, Saric and Wiggins in a sign-and-trade for Kemba Walker. Seems to good to be true, so it probably is. But how cool would it be to have Kemba, KAT, Covington and Okogie as four of our starting five.
