I have no idea how that would work. OKC is way over the cap. Dallas only has about $20-24 million in cap room if they renounce all their cap holds. So Dallas doesn't even have enough cap room to take Wiggins contract. I'm not sure what OKC brings to the table. Must be a swap that gives Dallas slightly more cap room, which would bump up OKC even more but perhaps on a shorter-term deal. I'd love to know what's in the works. We should find out soon. My bottom line, of course, is not giving up Okogie or Culver in the deal. If Dallas wants Wiggins they can have him. But they sure as heck shouldn't be getting Okogie, Culver or a future 1st round pick.

I still don't see this happening.
I have to agree it's gotten to the point where in some circles it will be a bit embarrassing to Rosas if we don't end up with Russell. But as I've indicated, I'll be OK with it and I'll give him credit for trying.
My bigger concern is that the entire League knows that Rosas badly wants Russell and is on the threshold of landing him. The entire League also knows he has to shed lots of salary to get across the threshold. That's not a good bargaining position to be in. To claw back a little bargaining leverage, Rosas needs to talk with a lot of teams in an effort to generate competing options - some involving Wiggins, and others involving Teague. Otherwise, Rosas might end up paying a king's ransom.
Some guys are getting a bunch of money so...maybe Wiggins is starting to look a little less bad.
If The Wolves don't get Russell it will because the money and cost was too much. A ton of money has been handed out already if we end up being patient and smart I'm cool with that.

Wiggins at 4 years $122 mil would still be the worst deal by a wide margin that's out there.

I just got off the phone with Mark Cuban and he disagrees.

We can take dallas off the list for teams with capspace.
