A few interesting stats:

Wolves are 5th in 3 point attempts and 4th in the NBA in FT rate. They are 6th in the NBA in points in the paint. They are 29th in fast break points and 27th in points off turnovers. So there are some positives from what they are doing on the offensively end and...some less obvious negatives especially for a team that's supposed to play fast. I think they have been slowing thing down quite a bit lately...not exactly by design but Culver isn't exactly going to be blazing up the court as a PG and neither does Wiggins.

Meanwhile...They are 28th in opponent 2nd chance points. But 11th in opponent fast break points. Around 20th in opponents points off turnovers and points in the paint. Transition points were something that really hurt them in the past so...maybe something to feel less horrible about? Lol

The wolves 28th in 3pt %. So we are doing what other teams want us to do. Shooting shots we don't make. Sounds productive

Right besides KAT the rest of the team is like 30%. How about some shooters who can defend? Not defenders who can't shoot. lol

The Wolves have been looking for 3 point shooters basically for 20 years. It's kinda hard to expect them to fix the problem last offseason with hardly any money to work with. Layman was doing well before he got hurt and the idea is to get them up. Wiggins and Towns are getting them up and a big reason why Okogie's FG percentage is up is...because he is taking shots in the paint and at the 3 point line. The Nets did something similar for up a volume and helped create a culture. It's not always going to be pretty but I think there will be some positive effects over time.

The key is basically find guys who are known to shoot and put them in the rotation and let them shoot. There's no point in letting Graham chuck if we know what he can do. Let Nowell shoot. Let Martin shoot. If they need to, cut McLaughlin and (I'm tired of saying this every year) find the best G-Leaguer you can find and let him shoot threes. It's the same game, same 3 point line, only now he'll be open. I'm resigned to the fact that we won't see this experimentation until they buyout Teague.

I wasn't being critical of Rosas, I was more or less criticizing the players themselves for their abysmal display of prowess. Though, as a Wolves fan, it is nothing new. Since Wally World and Hoiberg, throw in Cassel I suppose, Love and KAT don't count because you need more then one, though I think Cassel was even more of a short to midrange sniper, the team really hasn't had anyone really legitimate.
