Yeah it's been ugly. Memphis is really mediocre too.

Ugly might be an understatement. When a team is playing without its two top point guards, it's inevitably going to be an ugly game, and that's the style Memphis always seems to want to play. I still like Nowell as a SG, but disaster looms when Finch moves him to the point. J-Mac was mediocre too, but at least he's a true PG. Sad to waste a really good all-around game from Ant (did anyone else think that he actually looked pretty solid on defense last night?), but we're not going to win games with both DLO and Ricky out.

I thought DLO made the team worse? He does have a negative plus minus after all.

Did anyone actually think we'd win two games in a row? Not I said the fly guy.

DLO's on/offs are terrible this year, but as Kek and I discussed yesterday, you can build a strong case that his numbers are hurt by not playing many minutes with our two best players...KAT and JMcD, Even the biggest DLO detractors here would admit we are much better with DLO at the point than Nowell.

Is that lucky? Or, just bad defense?

Before you answer... consider... Wolves opponents are shooting 38.8% on three pointers this season. That ranks them 29th in the league.

I'm going with lucky. Like someone once said about Bob Gibson: "He's the luckiest pitcher in the world. He's always on the mound the day the other team isn't hitting well."
