The Spurs F team regularly beats good teams. They have full continuity. We are almost as far as you can get from continuity. This is not a game that we should take a ton of stock in. The defense isn't nearly there yet which happens with 3 new starters and our top 4 offensive players have no idea how to play with each other yet. I'd get worried if this was post all-star break, but not game one against the best system in the game. This is clearly a growing pains game against a good team.

Gay looks good. I'm happy to be wrong if he returns completely healthy with his game intact. His game is really well suited as a small ball 4.

Come on lip it's still 2 ELITE players vs 2 ELITE payers.. Bulter and KAT vs Gasol and Aldridge.

He and Tyus seemed to really steady the offense tonight. It looked like a real offense when they shared the floor together.
