Its interesting Thibs went with a Tyus. My guess was Tyus Defense was the reason. Remember when Tyus wasn't going to get minutes over Aaron Brooks and game 1 against the Spurs he gets minutes over Teague. Q was the only one that seemed to have a clue that may happen.

Also, Towns got handled by LA tonight. Hopefully it helps him realize the physicality he needs to bring to succeed at his position. He's just has to play tougher.

I'm not saying that but he needs to get better. There was no team last year to make the playoffs that started a below average defensive center

Dude nobody is saying any of that. It is one game. But I was hoping we would see some signs of improvement out of the young core guys

Towns was simply bad tonight. He wasn't particularly good in any phase of the game. That's not good for your chances to win on any given night.
