Rubio, Hernangomez, and Layman OUT for tonight.

I didn't know about Layman. Jaden McDaniels will see minutes I suspect. Not a bad thing at this point as the season is already almost down the drain and it gives us wolves weenies at least something to look forward to watching! May be Nowell gets a shot too?

Layman's wife just had a baby, so he's out for personal reasons.

It will be interesting to see who Ryan gives the bulk of the PF minutes to. Vando is the most likely starter. but Saunders has also teased Ant in that role. Ant has not proven to be an effective rebounder, so I would not be supportive of that decision. Ryan has also talked about giving Reid some minutes at PF, and I'm not sure about that either. I guess I'd rather see Vando start and see what McDaniels can do in backup minutes. I'm not optimistic about his readiness, but I admit I'm a little curious.

Rubio has underperformed the past couple games, and it will be interesting to see what J-Mac can do. I guess I'm not very optimistic about that either. Could Ricky's bad game last Wednesday be related to his Covid break? Didn't he already have Covid?

Anyway you look at it, this will be a difficult game for the Wolves tonight if Ja is back.
