San Antonio at Minnesota: Not Your Father’s Spurs
Minnesota's come out with great energy and execution in this one. This Spurs team isn't loaded with talent like the ones of past years. Wolves have to win these games if they're serious contenders for the playoffs.
Speaking of which, FiveThirtyEight has Minnesota projected to finish at 45-37 and make the playoffs as the seventh seed in the Western Conference

Man, this has been a pretty dominating performance by Wiggins. And I love that he is not "hogging" the ball to do his thing.

Wiggins has started hot tonight yet again. 11 quick points here with a made three, a couple free throws, a couple layups, and a floater. Scoring at various levels. This is nice to see.

Meh. What looked like a dominating start ended with a Spurs 8-1 run to close the quarter. Have to finish better than that.
With that said, Wolves lead 26-24 after 12.

We just don't have the offense if kat and wiggs are both off the floor.

I have yet to see it mentioned, but a huge component to Wiggins' early season success has been his ability to change speeds to keep defenders off balance. That comes with an improved handle and a rediscovered want to get to the rim. All of those things combined leave us with the player we've seen through the first 10 games.

Really nice to have Jeff Teague back. Haters be damned, he makes a pretty big difference (eye test).

Okogie not good on either side of the ball in that brief stint in Q1.

Not able to watch . . . why isn't Towns playing?

Okogie with the rare airball layup.
