Haven't had the flu in 25 years. And never had a shot.

Thanks for that anecdotal evidence. My great grandfather smoked for 85 of his 90+ years. Clearly smoking is good for you.

We don't really know the extent of the potential harmful effects of it. I completely disagree.

I wasnt looking for a debate, but we actually know alot about vaccine safety. I was being silly, but i hope you were too.

I've heard of people dying from the flu vaccine too, they got sick after getting the shot and died. So did you know that? I've read many medical books and doctors still know very little in general about how the body heals itself. The placebo effect, etc.

Anything you put into your body like a vaccine could react in someway detrimental. They talk about the side effects beforehand. It's not 100% safe. I know you'd like to think so.

Anyways, you were joking so thats good.

Walking out your door isn't 100%safe. The flu vaccine, like other vaccines, has shown overwhelmingly great positive health effects. Vaccinations are great, but i dont believe in forced vaccination. I guess you weren't joking, yikes.

I don't begrudge anybody for not getting the flu shot, but I get it every year. It's simply a matter of the benefits far outweighing the risks. But everybody has to make that choice for themselves.

The person who died was a friends grandfather. I thought you were going to say it wasn't proven to be correlated. I have read many medical books as well, nice you decided to edit that out. Since I am sure you are such an expert on the subject yourself.

Personally I use to get the flu shot but quit about 12 years ago, haven't had the flu since either. I'd rather not have to deal with the potential side effects. So get it if you want, don't get if you want.

It would not surprise me if wiggs is taking the passing of his grandmother hard. That kind of stress/grieving can leave him weakened and more susceptible to sickness.

I figured napier would be out a while when he said something popped.

Teague wasnt ill. He just required stitches after an incident from a non basketball activity.

With kat, cov, teague, and culver, i simply think rosas underestimated how bad they are or overstated how good they are.

Nothing in this draft worth tanking for? Tell me what this team offers other than (at best) a 7 or 8th seed and out. What pleasure does that give u?

Speaking for myself pork, but if we made it to the 7th or 8th seed, that means kat and wig both took a big step forward. It means they have both developed into plus contributing stars instead of empty stats players. We will have 2 max guys to build around.

We still have all our picks moving forward. Some nice pieces in okogie and culver. Good value contracts in cov and layman. Young intriguing players like Reid, novell that may develop into something.

That is a pretty good spot to be in. Of course everything depends on whether Wiggins can sustain his current play. If he could then it would be easier to build this team up and making the playoffs is very good development for the players.

I'll take a playoff run, that would mean watching some winning basketball and I would deem this year as entertaining. Do I want more than the playoffs and out? Yes I do and once you make the playoffs anything can happen and if we are a playoff caliber team maybe a trade or two happens. I guess I can paint a scenario where KAT plays like one of the best bigs in the league and Wiggins reaches his potential, sprinkle in role players with hustle, defense and anything can happen. Low odds sure, far fetched maybe, both KAT and Wiggs were taken #1 overall and are dripping with talent so yes I want them to get playoff experience post Jimmy B.
