Would the suns be willing to eat some money for talent?

Suns get Teague, Dieng, and Aldrich
Wolves get Chandler, Dudley, and Knight

Suns have mentioned they would like to make a push and start winning. Teague guves them a starting calibre pg and a possible stopgap. The suns released Len, so Dieng can be that stop gap C for ayton. Aldrich gives them some breathig room for taking on extra money. They get the best player in the deal by a pretty big margin.

wolves would get better depth pieces and give Tyus a shot at running the team. Knight can play the comboguard role of the bench. Dudley gives us some smarts, wing depth, and shooting. Chandler can still be a defensive anchor.

Tyus/Rose
Wiggs/Knight
Butler/Dudley
taj/Amile/Patton
KAT/Chandler

Its a good question. Inlooked around but I didn't find anything. A few years ago I think teams could sign some guys to future contracts so this might be something like that. The other thing is the 2-way deals don't count towards the salary cap anyway. My guess is though that the NBA will change this and make it (if it's it already possible) so teams can sign these players right after the draft. If that's not the way it is now and it needs to be ironed out later aim sire the league has said go for it and we will make them official at the appropriate time.

Interesting idea. The Suns did draft that International PG high in the 2nd round and he was expected to go higher. There are some decent stopgap PGs available plus they still have Tyler Ulis. Another option for the is the Bucks are trying to unload Delly. But let's say they were willing to do this deal the Wolves could sign another solid rotation level PG in FA for fairly cheap.

Which actually brings me to a question I have been thinking about if the Wolves stick with the guys they have and add Rose. What is the plan for PG beyond Teague Tyus and Rose? If Teague or Tyus get hurt for any length of time it feels like there is a decent chance Rose will be hurt also. Do we just get by with Jimmy handling the ball etc? Do we hope a 2-way guy can help? It's a small detail but I'm still a bit curious.

The suns have said that they want to make a push for the playoffs and start winning games. Teague can help, ulis and guys like delly wont.

Im not worried about a what if situation regarding our pgs. And do we even need a pg in thibs iso heavy offense? A gleague pg can play minutes as long as he can defend some and pass the ball to Kat, jimmy, or wiggs (in that order).

I hope you know that according to the advanced metrics of the past couple years Knight has been pretty horrific and he will be coming off a torn ACL. He might be even worse than Jamal Crawford was last year although there is a chance he bounces back and maybe is a little bit worthwhile. Honestly it's more likely though that he is basically unplayable (and therefore dead money) possibly even moreso than Dieng was last year. Your trade idea is why I would tend to hold onto Teague for this year because some team like the Suns could want him next year even he does opt in and we want to move on from him. I don't think Tyus is ready yet. To me it would depend on what other PG we could sign cheaply this year. I guess Elfrid Payton is available. Lol

I could be wrong also but I believe they can be signed because they were not on a roster at the end of the 2018 season. I believe we could sign any player who was a FA or undrafted player who was not on a roster at the end of the year. So for example if the Wolves wanted to bring AK47 back for whatever reason I believe he could be signed at this second.

I would like thibs to try and get off the gorgui contract by adding Aldrich contract and trade them to teams near the tax line. Why would gorgui and Cole for mozgov and lamb work. It saves the Hornets 5 mil in cap space and they get the better center in the deal. The wolves get a solid wing and get off the long term gorgui contract.

If you burn through 3 PG's in one season does anything really matter? I've not heard of signing 4 guys to play one position as injury insurance.

That's true but I wouldn't really be asking if Rose wasn't part of the PG equation. What's the over under on how many games he plays next year? I'm just asking what people think. I'm not saying sign a 4th PG.

With the wizards sending out their starting C for Rivers, wonder if theyd do a Dieng for Mahinmi deal.

Wiz get a starting C. We get a tough minded bench C to play behind KAT while shaving a year in salary.
