Went looking for Team Ricky on the Real GM Jazz board. This is all I could find:

They (Jazz) panicked. That's my initial thought on this. If I'm Hayward I'm not coming back to a team with Ricky Rubio as the starting PG. His own team just spend 2 years trying to get rid off him because it's extremely hard to build a team around a non-shooting and non-finishing guard.

Yikes!

I still think Ricky was a good signing due to the value with today's salaries. Pek was worth his contract based on his previous production. Just sucks he had a career ending injury and never lived up to it.
