Towns out again

Post by kekgeek »

Towns to miss multiple games after the all star break is over. Ryan says they don't have a timeline for his return

I do remember him having a pretty good fall where he was flexing his hand and arm afterwards. If it mattered more would he be playing? Probably but whatever. More minutes for Naz and hopefully they actually play Spellman.

Why?

Edit: I see the Wolves don't play till Friday and Iowa is playing tonight. Might as well get these guys some run I guess.

I think there's a not insignificant chance he doesn't play again this season.

Meh.

Everybody knows that it's in Year 6 when these guys magically learn how to win games anyway...

What a joke. In a draft where it appears not to make a lick of difference whether someone gets the 3rd pick or 8th pick. Rosas and Co. are continuing the self-perpetuating syndrome of losing. DLO and KAT will cash their checks for another year or so before they figure out they can't win here (partially due to their own shortcomings) and then their agents will orchestrate trades.

Yeah... but by then, we'll have a new regime and they'll have some "new" twist on the next re-re-re-rebuild.

HOPE ETERNAL!!!!!!

If anything, losing more, even intentionally, makes every asset you have more appealing to another team. It's a lot more palatable to a team like Phoenix or Washington to give up an asset if you have a top-3 pick to trade than a top-7 to 10. There is absolutely something psychologically significant about the perceived value of a pick based simply on the slot, regardless of the perceived or actual quality of the draft pool. Teams will convince themselves to overvalue it, and it only requires one.
