Sad to hear she didn't make it. I have been worrying about my mom during this. She lives in a senior living complex with different leaves of care and one person has it. We debated moving her out since she doesn't need any care, but she would be more at risk at our house. She doesn't think she is at risk even though she is 75 years old. It is pretty much what I have seen with most people over 65 I have talked to.

I was somewhat relieved last week when my mom texted my brother and I that they had had a phone appointment with the transplant doctor for my dad. It's been 10 years. The Dr. said my Dad was not to be going out and about getting groceries etc. It made me feel like there was more likeliness that my parents would be (maybe more) careful. After telling a friends in a text group about this news one of the friends asked if she could have the name and number of that doctor for her parents. Lol They seem to think it's no big deal.

This is a really serious disease, but unfortunately too many have failed to fully appreciate how transmissible and deadly it is. Although it's especially fatal among those over 65, there are people in their 40s and 50s (even younger) dying from this. The doctor in Wuhan China who first warned the world about this died from it and he was only in his 30s and it good health.

Sad news indeed. I was kind of expecting it (unfortunately) because there had been no news since KAT announced she was placed in a medically-induced coma. Had she turned a corner, I'm sure we would have heard about it. But alas, this cruel virus took another life.

It is tricky. My co-worker got it. Mid 50's not in shape etc. He was fine after 10 days. Fever and cough. His wife never got it. I really don't think we truly understand how it transfers. How could only 2 Jazz players get it after being on a plane/bus/locker room together?

My ex-wife and I have agreed to guidelines for this which are no visitors and no going in stores without a mask on top of the handwashing. My inlaws came over yesterday in there 70's. My wife told them they can't come in and they freaked out. I had to tell them if you come in I can't see my kids until May 4th. They seriously don't get it.

I can't even imagine losing my mom that early. I haven't been able to see my mom in about 6 weeks because she's at higher risk due to multiple auto immune diseases, fibro, osteo, etc. Thankfully she had stopped taking her immuno suppressants a few weeks before stuff really started to spread.

It's just so baffling to me that so many people don't grasp the situation, believe it's a haux or some huge conspiracy for the government to control us. I just don't understand people.
