Great team effort again. Not one guy dominating, but multiple guys having solid games. Naz Reid just keeps impressing. I doubt we see KAT again this year, but I'll be damned if they think KAT and Naz can never play any minutes together next season. You gotta get your most skilled players on the floor together, "system" be damned.

Jarrett Culver has made 43% of his 35 3-point attempts since the trade deadline.
But wait, I was told by the experts on this board that his shot was broken. I'm confused now...

Game-high +23 in 31 minutes. Dude balled out tonight on both ends albeit in a rather easy matchup.
Easy matchup, yes. But I agree he was impressive. His game management was terrific. He played hard on both ends. He really showed some leadership on the defensive end, imploring his teammates to talk with one another. And he really knows how to orchestrate an offense.

Naz just keeps getting better and better. And he's really improved his rebounding. He's a starting-quality center or PF right now. I look forward to seeing how much better he becomes. I agree that the coaching staff needs to seriously consider playing Naz and KAT together.

Super small sample size. He is still shooting 50% in that time from the line. But rather have a good small sample then a bad one

It's certainly good to see, but I definitely don't trust it. Guys just don't go from sub 50% free throwers and 25% 3-point shooters to suddenly having things fixed. If he sustains this the rest of the season, it would be borderline miraculous.
Having said that, perhaps there is some adjustments that he's made to his stroke that he can further refine and get grooved in this offseason. We always say it with defensive types like him and Okogie, but if they can just get to league average-ish shooters, they would be significantly more valuable role players.

I love Naz's skills set but also love his motor, man he plays hard! He seem to be able to guard on the perimeter much better then Kat, that's the key to playing them both together.

The numbers are going the right direction. Dane reported on a podcast a few weeks ago that the Wolves are legitimately working with him on his jump shot. They aren't waiting till the offseason. That should be obvious but some credit should go to Culver for being willing to work on it. I mean it couldn't get much worse but really the 3 point shooting from him does look more legit.
Re: Pups vs Bulls GDT
Fun game the Wolves came out and took over in the 3rd quarter. Yeah that's right the 3rd quarter!!!
Like Jim Pete and other said here the ball was really moving. This was against the Bulls but they have been playing some solid to good defense statistically so it's probably somewhat meaningful.
It's worth remembering f this wolves team is playing most of the last few games with at least 4 rookies in the rotation 3 of which were not drafted and 1 other rotation player that's been here all year in Okogie. Everyone else has been here for weeks. It's hard to expect high level team play on both sides from that type of roster construction but there are some really nice signs offensively.
McLaughlin and Reid should give us some real hope this front office actually has some clue what they are doing. Those guys are legit NBA players right now.
