Phil Jackson on MSG Live-"We're getting calls...we've been getting calls and we're listening. We have to do what's good for the club...2 starters and a draft pick"
Phil was asked about the exit meeting. Phil was clearly annoyed, said he has never had a player miss an exit meeting in 25-30 years of coaching so he was quite surprised.
said he has had minimal contact with Kristaps, nothing through voice.
[gambodoro] Porzingis hates Hornacek, has unreported medical issues that Knicks are wary about
Just said it on the radio that he doesn't like playing for Hornacek and that his medical issues are a reason why the Knicks might be willing to part with him.

Rubio, 7, future first for Porzingis and Noah
Re: Knicks might actually trade Porzingis
Rubio and #7 for Porzingis and Noah sounds like a dream come true. However, what about those medical issues? We don't know what they are, but the fact that those issues are prompting the Knicks to consider trading him concerns me. Alas, I don't see a deal happening.

Porzingis is one of my favorite young players in the league. I hope he stays healthy and ends up on a team that's not a dumpster fire. I don't know what the medical osssies but he is a very large human even for NBA standards and he has missed plenty of games already. There is legit reason to be concerned there. If Phil is serious about moving him I think there could be some teams with interesting offers. I saw a headline that the Suns were a team that had some discussions.
Re: Knicks might actually trade Porzingis
If we're trading for zingis then Zach or Wiggins has to go. Not only because they would want one, but also because we cannot viably keep all 4. Zach, Rubio, future 1st. Phil did say 2 starters and a pick.. It won't happen, but that would be my only offer.
I'm a huge Zach fan. Before his injury I liked him more than Wiggins long term. Still after the injury I was tentative about moving him for a 27-30 year old player like Butler. Because the state of the NBA with the warriors and LeBron wouldn't make that a great deal with the age of our current core. Zingis would change that view.
Draft BPA at 7 this year (DSJ, Frank, Isaac, Tatum, Jackson, Fox).
Dunn/Wiggins/Zingis/Towns/Dieng/Belly/Tyus/Aldrich + 7 and 35ish mil to spend. We would be in a great spot.
