Kawhi Leonard is easily my favorite non-wolve in the league. Great player, clutch player, good human being. I have so much respect for that guy and he is really easy to cheer for.

Mine too. How did they go from Duncan to this guy? It is insane.

So the Spurs just handled the Rockets starting a 20 year old rookie PG who had to match up with the most tenacious PG defender in Beverly. There was some struggles early on for Murry but overall they weathered that and he even ended up being the top plus minus guy on the team. Obviously he wasn't the catalyst for that but they played well with him out there. His length helps defensively.

Q outlined some of the adjustments well. I only watched a large chunk of the first half. It looks like it's going to be a back and forth series.

Really a throwback - and I mean way back - in the way he carries himself on the court. Never talks trash, rarely complains, doesn't flop around like a fish, doesn't upstage opponents, doesn't thump his chest. Absolutely love his demeanor. Quiet power.

Moster, Houston's offense actually looked a little gimmicky in this game. I know Harden had a big night, but there were plays where he'd dribble around the screen and past the 3-point line. No one from the Spurs defense would come out to guard him. Instead, they would sag all the way back to the hoop, giving him miles of space for a simple elbow pull-up J, something a player of his caliber should make in his sleep. Often times he would kick it out anyway, to a 3-point shooter that was already covered.

Finally, finally we see a defense adjust and dare them to violate their dogma around what constitutes good shots. It ended up being a lot of highly contested 3's and blocked shots at the rim.

I agree completely, Cool! Can't believe I left him off my poll a few weeks ago. He's undoubtedly the player I'd want on our team right now above all others.

Good call on the throwback. The way he just plays despite being what at this point looks like a great player reminds me of Barry's Sanders. Their playing styles are very different but Sanders despite being one of the most electric players I have seen in my lifetime just handed the ball to the official after he scored etc. He turns 26 in June. He can still get better. We may be watching an all-time great career unfold and he already has a finals MVP to his name.

I was watching the last few minutes of the first half of the GS Jazz game just now.

It hit me while I was watching that how great would it have been if though Stockton Malone teams had a guy like Gobert instead of a guy like Greg Ostertag who actually wasn't terrible it was just solid at his best. Those were fun teams to watch though.

Draymond worked himself into a T and his final foul was so obvious that it was afpulnand then he got his T from the bench. I was surprised it was his first of the playoffs.

Go Jazz.

The Jazz are so overmatched. They gave 110% and the crowd was way into it. They even managed to slow down Draymond, Klay, and Steph. But Durant just surgically took them apart. He is their X-factor this year because he can get his shot off on anyone, something Steph and Klay can't always do.
