Holy crap, I've never seen a total destruction of a team like this. The Cavs just took the lifeforce out of the Garden.

LeBron's first half stats: 22 pts, 3 rebs, 6 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks, and a +40

Mmmm, perhaps he should have been an MVP finalist.

Also, Boston really does have a dilemma when it comes to IT. He is an inspirational and beloved figure, but he just isn't cut out to be THE guy at this stage in the playoffs. I figured eventually his diminutive stature would catch up with him.

Any other game I'd turn off and do something else. The way LeBron and the Cavs are playing makes me want to keep watching. He is the most talented player i have seen and may ever see.

Yeah, it's funny, I kind of feel the same way. I am transfixed by the sheer ferocity of the take down.

I personally think this is a message to Golden State. They aren't playing Boston anymore.

This isn't just on IT. Let's be flat out honest here. The Cavs if they play well are miles more talented than the Celtics. They do have a dilemma though. It sucks IT is to me a type of guy sports are really fun to cheer for.

I'm not watching the game but I thought there was no way were we're going to see anything like the Spurs destruction of the Rockets without Leonard and now the Cavs are...I don't even know what the term is for what they are doing. Unbelievable. I still think what the Spurs did is probably more impressive but YIKES!!!!!!

You might be right Monster. The Celtics have one legit shot creator and that's Thomas, the shortest player in the NBA. Meanwhile, the Cavs' #2 option is hitting pull up 20-foot bank shots....on purpose! And nailing 3's right in people's faces. Freakin' Irving is a ridiculous shot maker.

I think Brad Stevens might be the Celtics MVP. I'm not sure that's more than a 45-win roster with an average coach.

I was thinking they might trade their #1 pick for Butler, but now I think they will go with Fultz and perhaps even take a half step back next year as they look to groom him and Brown as core guys going forward.

They will try hard and get Hayward and then draft fultz.

But next year IT, Bradley and smart all free agents. Also will loose depth in olynk this offseason. They are in a weird spot (not saying it is a bad spot)

The thing with the Celtics is they can both build for the future while keep building to get better now. They are in a tricky but great situation.

Speaking of Kyrie...I was watching highlights of Fultz and he reminded me of Kyrie a bit. Ok offensively that's high praise so let me explain. Remember when Kyrie came out there were some questions about his athletic ability in a way. I think part of that was how he played. Kyrie has so many moves his ball handling is so good he doesn't have to blow past you but he also is big and athletic enough to do that as well. From the highlights I watched Fultz had some of that too. He never seemed to be in a hurry. He did what he wanted got to his spots and scored or even set up guys. Of course he is bigger than Kyrie and is probably more athletic. Again saying he reaches Kyrie offensively is a pretty high ceiling but I came away somewhat impressed especially with his size etc. If he competes defensively. He could be a heck of a player. It took me a bit of watching before i saw why he is so highly regarded but I kinda get it.

Just got back from the Twins game. Fun win.

Monster I agree with you on Fultz. My impression was the same, he was alway under control and very skilled. Very similar to Kyrie. I think players like that are so easy to project as elite offensive players. Especially when you add in the jump shot.
