That would make things interesting on draft night.

Makes sense for Boston if it's a fair trade. They could take Jackson or Tatum or even Isaac and avoid creating a logjam at the guard positions. Thomas, Bradley, Smart, and Rozier already form a good rotation of guards, and adding Jackson, Tatum, or Isaac to a forward rotation with Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder would be nice. With Horford, that's a balanced roster in terms of position and a mix of guys who can play now and guys with bright futures. Plus they'd add somebody from Philly if they trade. Maybe Okafor? Covington? And they still get the Nets pick next year. Man, that team has a bright future.

Who would you take if you were Boston and you were picking 3rd? Jackson, Tatum, Isaac?

Philly would love to have an up-and-coming PG, so they could get Fultz or Ball, though I'd be curious what they'd give up to move up.

Picks the 76ers have #3, 2018 Lakers pick, 2018 76ers pick, 2019 SAC pick and I believe 2019 thunder top 20 protected pick.

If fultz busts I feel bad for the 76ers fans. Hinkie worked hard for the picks and coleangelo could be trading it all away. Hope it works out

This trade makes no sense to me right now. Make it when you know you're getting the guy you want aka draft night. Why make this deal now before you know what is available at 3? Swapping draft rights while picking up an extra asset makes so much more sense than doing this now and potentially having the Lakers take the guy you want at 2 leaving you a consolation prize at 3.

I do think if this deal goes down pre-draft that Boston is eyeing Isaac. They need a lengthy frontcourt shot blocker who can stretch the floor. They would get to bring him off the bench for a few years before he bulks up. Jackson just seems like too much of an overlap with Brown to take him and Isaac is much more complementary to their team comp right now and he needs time to develop anyway. You can't take a guy like Isaac at 1, but I could definitely see it at 3.

If this deal goes down it will be interesting to see how many picks the Celtics get. I agree Isaac makes a ton of sense for them at 3. If the Celtics are able to get a ton of value with future picks back and still get a player that fits better it makes a ton of sense.

As for the Sixers...isn't this partly why they accumulated all those assets? Go get that top player. If Fultz is gonna be a really good player make it happen plus he actually fits with the guys they have. They would have a massive lineup with ridiculous length. I don't know if Fultz is THAT guy but hoarding picks can only get you so far.

I don't understand the trade from Philly's perspective. Isn't a huge part of what made Simmons special was his playmaking ability, so much so that they were toying with him at PG? With concerns about his shot taking the ball out of his hands seems to diminish his game a little.

Even Lebron doesn't run the offense every single time down the court. Having two guys who can do it at a high level ensures you can always have one on the court for the whole game. They need a high level perimeter scorer and that's what Fultz is. I think it's highway robbery if they can pull this off.

I listened to the latest Dunc'd on podcast and the latest they reviewed Frank N along with the Cavs offseason and Denver and Markkanen.

Frank N. (I'm going to start calling him Frank'n) the felt was a a guy that was like many have said a complimentary guy. One of them wondered if he was really just a SG that could sometimes initiate offense. Really they didn't say much that hasn't been written in any scouting report about the guy. They thought he would be a great fit for a team that had a ball handler that scores already. They said his shooting was pretty impressive since he is shooting the 3 from the international line which is is much closer to the NBA 3 than the college 3 point line.

They also had fun figuring out different Love trades. The one they enjoyed the most was sending him to the Wolves.

Markkanen they spent plenty of time talking about how good he was as a shooter including coming off screens. They said he was really one hand dominate when he made a move with the ball towards the basket. They spent time on how he would likely be a liability. They made the point that who really drafts a guy at 8 or whatever only thinking about if they guy can play in the NBA finals? They said obviously you want to look towards that but maybe that's a little too much. They also said in X amount of years maybe he won't be as much of a liability when he team is a contender. I thought it was something worthwhile to consider. They weren't dismissing his possible liabilities at all because they both were plenty concerned but it was interesting to have some perspective.

They thought Denver had some nice assets and possible flexibility. They thought throwing a max deal at Millsap would be worth it. They also discussed how many teams would really throw near max money at Millsap and their lost wasn't too long.

Surprisingly I found their offseason of those teams more interesting than their prospects but I'm not sure how much there is to talk about with those 2 prospects. I think Monk might be the only guy left.
