The Three Oregon Ducks all intrigue me as second round quality picks. Bell, Dorsey and especially Dillon Brooks. Brooks was not only an assassin from 3, but one of the only players who could consistently create and attack off the dribble and finish with rare finesse at the rim. His measurements crush his stock, (t-Rex short arms) but his calm attitude and shot selection from all over the court could be a great bench scoring option if Bazz is gone.
I can't shake the image of Markkanen in a Wolves jersey out of my head. I'm resigned to it. I just hope he doesn't play much at all next season for us (or whoever we pick)

I just can't imagine Thibs taking him. I know we need shooting, but other than that, he's pretty much the opposite of what we need.
I gotta believe Thibs is thinking long and hard about trading down, I bet he loves guys like OG Anunoby and Jordan Bell. I think if Isaac is still available he may take and keep him since he may have the best 2-way potential of anyone outside of Josh Jackson. His weight (or lack thereof) is a major problem though.

6. Jonathan Isaac
Ok that would be a bit of a pickle. I'd be tempted to take Fox and pray he can hit 3's. I would think a trade down maybe even to 10 because I would think the Kings would love to get Fox. Like you said Collins might make the most sense. It seems unlikely Fox falls that far but we will see. It's possible Fox is picked in that scenario but not Monk.
Either Monk or Fox needs to get taken in the top 6 for the Wolves to have a shot at Tatum or Isaac. I hope ESPN's latest mock with Monk going 3rd is right, but I doubt it. The Sixers will go BPA and that means Isaac or Tatum. I don't see Monk going in the top 6. Our best hope is the Kings or Magic taking Fox. But Fox's poor perimeter shooting might push him our of the top 6. There's a chance Smith might go top 6. He's definitely a top 6 talent, but motor issues and injury history will likely keep that from happening.
Most likely scenario is we're on the clock at #7 with Issac and Tatum already off the board. I'd take Collins at that point or trade down for solid player and a top 15 pick. Ideally, our pick would be high enough to take Markkanen. He looks like he'll be an elite 3-point shooter as a stretch 4 in the NBA.
