It definitely makes sense the message board for a team who hasn't made the playoffs for over a decade criticizes playoff performances of other players.

Do you want me to lie to you? We've all had a chance to be neutral fans during the NBA Playoffs for over a decade like you alluded to, I think we can call a choke artist when we see one.

It's more the alluding to it being a bad thing if we got Lowry and LA when in reality that would make us a power house team to deal with.

In the regular season yes but they falter under the bright lights, Lowry especially. We are in too good of a position to go after 30 year olds with a history of wilting under pressure.

The 6th worst team in the league is in too good a spot to add two all-stars who would significantly move the needle. I'm just baffled by that notion. Trying to plan the championship parade before we even make the playoffs. SMH. By the way we have this ice blooded 22 year old named Andrew Wiggins who steps up in those situations and just needs a little more help to put us over the top.

We're in a great position to pick up another Dunn like player and break 35 wins next year... Give me some vets!

Except getting both will never happen. Getting LA puts us in the treadmill team area. Making the playoffs would definitely be a nice change, but I just don't agree with making a decision to making the playoffs is enough when LA will play spot minutes for 20+. Mil when it comes time to actually win in the playoffs. He doesn't put us into serious contention,

Stupid idea and stupid trade.

We have two, maybe three, top notch prospects. We need to build on that right now with players between 19-27. Otherwise we are buying a losing team.

Yes we are in too good of spot, I"m baffled that you want to give up all our cap space AND our pick for a choke artist. What needle does that move, what did he move for the Spurs? Wiggins has never even been to the playoffs he hasn't even had a chance to step up yet lol.

Nobody puts us in serious contention so why bother even playing the fucking game at this point? Just pack it up and keep playing the lottery until Lebron and the Warriors are done and then end the 20 year playoff drought at that time. Championship or bust is a really dumb attitude to have when you have to beat the greatest team or 2nd greatest player of all time to do it.

It's more of a championship contender mentality or bust, I'd rather not be Portland and have a 6 seed be our ceiling.

If you think Towns/Wiggins/Lavine/LA is a 6 seed ceiling then we already will never be a contender based on your expectations. That's an indictment on our existing 3 players if they can't pair with an all-star and do better than a 6 seed. The 6 seed this year was the OKC Westbrook's. The Houston Harden's won 55 games with one all-star and got the 3 seed. You really have to think lowly of Towns/Wiggins/Lavine if you think they can't do better than that after adding an all-star level player like LA.

He replaced Tim Duncan well enough to keep them as the second best team in the league and still best defensive team in the league. If they don't have him this year the needle moves back. And to think adding him wouldn't move our needle at all is just insanity. You honestly believe adding Lamarcus Aldridge to this team would keep us in the lottery and not get us to the playoffs?

Fuck, he will be 32 man and our whole core 3 is under 22. He isn't a team changer any longer. I'd love to male the playoffs. But you're a damn idiot if your only goal Is to make the playoffs (unless youre the owner or we are talking football where anyone has a chance in one game). That's all he does for us, and he handcuffs any future moves to become a contender. Is it that difficult to see?
