Sign a PG?
Sign a PG?
Maybe Teague or Rose or both will be ready for the next couple games but off not should the Wolves at least sign someone to a 10 day contract? I like Terrell but he isn't really a PG. I think at some point he could be a guy that can give you minutes there but not now. Or should we just roll with him and point Wiggins etc? On the other hand Utah won't be playing many PG sized guys so maybe that helps the Wolves in a way.

Jerryd Bayless is fine.
For a 4th PG.
I really don't like watching him play though. Yuck. But sadly, the Wolves are lucky to have him right now.

Re: Sign a PG?
Ryan and the GM need to evaluate the various injuries to their PGs and, if they think we could be down to just Bayless, make a move before the Sunday home game (tonight's game is a scheduled loss...take the L and move on).
There are several possibilities out there. Brandon Jennings, Aaron Brooks, Bobby Brown, Isiah Canaan, Mario Chalmers, Jameer Nelson, Ramon Sessions, Isaiah Taylor are not great options, but could help us on a 10-day more than Williams.

LST just made me vomit on my shirt. Damn it.
But I'd go with Canaan, by default? He's kind of a Bayless type and might get hot behind the arc for a game.

Ha, sorry Abe...my bad. Unfortunately desparate times require desperate measures. Get well soon Jeff, Tyus and Derrick.

It is kind of amazing. Teague and Tyus both really healthy in their careers and now they are all hurt at the same time. What's Johnny Flynn up to. Marbury said he wanted back in the NBA

Maybe this was said in jest but the only Wolves player left from when Brown was with the Wolves is Wiggins and Dieng. Brown would be an interesting player though for a quick help because he has length to play both guard positions. Aaron Brooks would win the familiarity contest.
LST brings up some illustrious names. There are likely at least 10 more names that are roughly equally intriguing/vomit inducing. Looking at the G-league stats PJ Dozier is 6th in that league with 7.2 assists a game. I'm not saying we should sign him but I was surprised he was putting up that kind of numbers even at that level since he was a wing in college.
One guy I always liked is Isiah Taylor. He had a leg fracture in October which is why the Cavs let him go.

Re: Sign a PG?
Unless all of our PGs are going to be out for a while, in a "what do we have to lose" way, I'd like to see us try to muddle through. Necessity is the mother of invention and perhaps it brings out the best in a couple of guys.
Edit: And oh, it's easy to like (and overrate in a sense) Bayless for the simple fact he doesn't hesitate to shoot the 3. He's made some big ones the last couple of games.
