Would they go for that deal right now? That would certainly be beyond the "pennies to the dollar" that the local media seem to be reporting. I don't think that's dumping Wiggins at almost all cost, based on performance alone that is a pretty fair deal.

That's a much better deal than I would expect for Wigs contract. I'd take it.

Cam posed a similar deal a few months ago. I would have been tempted to say yes back then after Cam made his case. No its a no brainer.

Wolfson has said today on Twitter a couple times to questions from fans if the Wolves wanted to just give Wiggins away they could do it. He said they are not going to just give him away. I can't blame them. This offseason though... Heck lets be wildly optimistic and say Ryan Saunders can get through him to a somewhat satisfactory degree. Is that supposed to have happened in a few weeks? What left of this season probably isn't enough time to really say but IF you thought there was a chance you would need more time than what Ryan has gotten so far. I'm not suggesting I think Ryan will get through to him but it may make sense to see what the rest of the season holds. IF someone comes with a moderately interesting offer...sure. We don't know what the offers might be.

I meant would Orlando go for that deal? I'm not sure they would. They're in perpetual tank mode. Having to much salary might disrupt that.

I want Wiggins gone, but I have no illusions that it will be a good deal for the Wolves. The deal will look bad on paper I suspect, but to get out of that albatross of a contract that's the sacrifice that will have to be made. I'm still on the Kemba train, overpay him, do whatever.

They have no way to significantly improve in free agency. Nobody is going to Orlando to play with Gordon and Vucevic and they may just dump Vucevic this summer or else they are capped out with what they already have. At least Wiggins gives them a primary scorer they don't have and a chance at an All-Star albeit a low one. I just imagine a huge lineup with Wiggins/Isaac/Gordon/Bamba being able to defend pretty well which is a start towards playoff improvement for them. Gordon already extended, Mozgov still has another year and Fournier is signed for 2 years after this one so they don't really have a ton of money to begin with to sign a guy.

We just don't have great assets to trade. With Teague and Rose hurt also hurts their value

That's a no brainer! Fournier is a better player and more flexibility. I'd target Gordon but that's prolly not as realistic as your proposal. However moving Gordon opens up their front court where they've recently invested high lottery picks.
