I made a bet

Hey guys so a really good friend of mine and I like to make friendly wagers

He was talking smack Monday so I made him put his money where his mouth is on the Timberwolves outlook this year.

Long story short I set the over/under for the Wolves at the 7 seed this year and he took the over (maybe i'm not saying that right) but now I need them to finish with the 6th seed or better.

Please tell me i'm not screwed lol

I still don't completely trust what we're seen is sustainable. They have had a bunch of home games with minimal injuries and some decent time off between games. Let's see how this road trip goes after Charlotte.

(Keep in mind I had them slated to win 28 games, so I kinda have a negativity bias after years of being a beaten down fan).

I wouldn't bet on the Wolves even making the playoffs but betting they get the 6th seed or higher would be a lot. HOWEVER I won't be surprised if they do it. It looks like it's gonna be like last year with not much separating all the teams and...idk of tjere is gonna be a Rockets #2 type team at the top. Heck GS isn't rolling yet.

It's going to be even tougher to secure the 8th seed than last season. The Clippers are a much better team than last season. I'm convinced they're for real and I don't see them falling out of the top 7. The Lakers with LeBron would be in the playoffs if the season ended today and I see that team getting better as LeBron and the younger guys start to gel a bit. The Grizzlies have Conley back and it shows as they continue to remain among the top 7 teams in the West. Utah struggled early, but they seem to have it together now. The Mavs are no longer a pushover and look like they're going to be in the hunt for a playoff spot. Even the Kings are much, much better than last season. While I don't think they'll make the playoffs, they'll be much harder to beat this season.

The only West team that seems truly bad and not capable of making the playoffs this season is Phoenix.

Ya it looks like it's going to come down to whether or not we can figure it out on the road. Hopefully the winning is contagious and just carries over. I don't expect us to be great on the road but something closer to .500ish would be nice
