Danger danger danger! (Wolves vs. Cavs)
Re: Danger danger danger! (Wolves vs. Cavs)
I agree with you, monster, on Towns passing. I have complained a number of times on both Towns and Wiggins that they need to do more to create scoring opportunities for others. Too often they just look to score for themselves. It would really help team chemistry if they would help their teammates score.

Yes. And I think it would help Towns if when the ball goes into the post... the offense has people moving.
Watching the modern-day version of Barkely/Drexler/Hakeem backing people down in the post while everybody stands around waiting from the mid 90s is pretty boring sometimes.

I don't think Towns is selfish I just don't think that aspect has developed yet (and other factors has fostered that). Wiggins ball handling hold him back but he does have a super slight career high in assists and assist percentage. :) Fun stat...the Wolves have a winning record this year when Wiggins plays. Dude is a winner!!! Lol
what I want Wiggins to do to make his team better is play harder give effort on D. Make good rotations to help on D. I think there are legit signs of that happening more consistently.

Read something off a reddit that makes some sense, especially with Tolliver and Crawford talking about the same things.
Before the Butler trade, Thibs did not talk to wiggs or KAT at all. It was either yelling in practice or get Taj or Teague to talk to them. Hence why KAT felt like it was thibs and his Bulls against him.
Since the Butler deal, Thibs has been talking more to KAT ( I think KAT wanted Thibs out) to mend some bridges. Wiggs, he just ignores completely. Smitch and Flip figured out that you need to communicate to wiggs differently, so I guess Thibs thought that ignoring him completely was the best course of action.
We've read reports of thibs and his communication issues, but didnt think it would include KAT and Wiggins. So, its basically thibs talking to his guys, then his guys relaying that information to certain players. Thats messed up.

Interesting stuff. There is probably something to glean. I'll say though that even if that's true it's far from uncommon. Adelman used to do the same type of thing. Does that approach work now? Sure that's a good question especially when you have the duel role like Thibs but I've seen video of him after practices (before this year) talking individually with thoses guys and once he was even smiling! Do I think Thibs communicates enough? No I do not think it's a strength of his. It seems like he has tried to work on it but whether it will be enough...pretty much everyone has lots of doubts. I think the biggest thing that has been reported is he doesn't really allow for players to have a say of buying in. Again I wonder if Thibs actually wants players to really say something and he makes it seem like he doesn't want to listen. Either way it's a problem he needs to address.

Karl Malone is upset he wasn't mentioned in that list.
