32 wins but if Covington stays healthy and no other big injury issues come to fruition they could win a handful of games more than that. Last year was a disaster in a number of ways including injuries to various players. As for who would be dealt that would tank the season Napier is a guy that if dealt would affect wins and losses because without him they will he playing a rookie in his minutes. It won't be pretty but may be good for development. I'd go higher but 32 wins is based on the possibility of having some more significant injuries.

I think the team in the west that is gonna be bad is Memphis. They have a good future and some solid talent but unless a young player makes a big step I think they are a 20's win team. They may sell off a guy like crowder for some more picks.

My reasoning: Scheme change is already evident on offense, player rotations will be better, the roster has a more modern feel to it, Culver will be in the top 5 in rookie performance, and I think the team doesnt have any dark clouds following it anymore.

What I think some of you are missing is this, what we look like in October and November is not going to be a good indicator of what we have. Making any win prediction using this preseason as a factor would be baseless. We have new players, new coaches, new management, new schemes, and new culture. There is a good chance we will be pathetic the first 25 games. But as tired as this fan base is with starting over, that's pretty much what's happening here. The hope is we start to see the seeds of a coming renaissance during the middle of the season. In-season trades could affect the ultimate win total, but if the group stays and grows together we should be a much better team in May.

I just think at that time we are in more of tank mode than. I just don't think we have talent. We have one elite player in Kat, and above average player in Cov, then an average player in Teague and possibly Wiggins. Then the rest of the team have been in and out of NBA rotations throughout there career. I just don't think we have talent.

We are a Kat injury away from being from being one of if not the worst roster in the NBA. I would hammer the under. I like that we are playing a more modern style and in theory we have a happier team but in the end talent wins and I think we only have for sure 4 NBA players and that is it. The rest of the guys are interchangeable. With Culver being the really only X factor for this season.

Stylistic improvements and a more contemporary playing style doesn't necessarily lead to wins. We still need players that can shoot the 3 and defend, the two chronic issues that have plagued this team since KG left over a decade ago. I didn't see any evidence this offseason that those two issues were adequately addressed.

But the West is tough, as of now. And the Wolves are near the bottom of it, even by the most optimistic... and assuming good health. The Wolves could be the 2nd worst team in the league if Towns were to go down for any extended period. They are not good. I'm not optimistic.

I see only 4 teams in that category: Memphis, Phoenix, Dallas and Sacramento. Right now, I see Memphis as the only one of these four that I fully expect to finish below the Wolves.

It's really just Memphis and it's only because they have a pick to protect. Dallas and Sacramento are easily better and If Rubio clicks with Ayton, so will Phoenix.

This is a bad team. No amount of lasagna dinners, early practices and Bahamian vacations are gonna change that in the short term. The Wolves organization just wants us to like them again, but if they're gonna lose the same way they've lost all these years, what's to like?

I said 29 wins in the Bucks thread. Give me 28 instead. Like I said since Rosas got here, I don't think he's aware of how hard this job is gonna be. I think outside perception is that it doesn't take much to satisfy this fanbase. Just give us nice guys with nice families and good hearts who appear to work hard and compete most nights and you're golden. After all, that's all Glen wants. I hope the young guys get their feet wet here and in Iowa, but I feel like I'll get more enjoyment watching Iowa G-League, so hopefully Nowell and Reid and the rest establish themselves there. I hope Culver realizes that while he's trying to fit in and do what he's asked, that he views Wiggins as inferior to him and tries to take his spot in the lineup. Truth be told, that's the only thing I'm looking forward to sadly, when is Wiggins finally gonna hit rock bottom and lose his standing here?
