I think Bagley is gonna be an offensive stud. 6'11 and smooth with the ball. He's a modern NBA big with just questions on defense. He was Beasley in college except he's actually 6'11 and not 6'7 and he has a great motor.

While you are correct about the Wolves not moving under the cap, the flexibility is very real because the full MLE would be at their disposal without having to rescind their rights to Belly (and others). Without the additional space, I am not sure the Wolves could hold the rights to Belly AND still have access to the full MLE (I did not double check my math!).

You could be right. That's an important consideration.

The math is too much but maybe they can even start next offseason under the tax so they have the full mid level that season as well which would be handy or maybe have the ability to absorb some other player/contractthat would be more painful otherwise.

Very interesting development with the Wizards taking Troy Brown. So there are 4 picks left before the Wolves are on the clock. Will Lonnie Walker and Zhaire Smith be two of those four picks ahead of us? What a treat if Walker falls, that that's too good to be true.

Looks like a certainty that the Wolves will have their pick of all the guys who have been talked about on this Board and all the mocks as possible or likely Wolves picks at #20: Josh Okogie, Donte DiVincenzo, Khyrie Thomas, Jacob Evans, Dzanan Musa, Melvin Frazier, Shake Milton and Aaron Holiday (current pick of NBAdraft.net mock).

If it's Aaron Holiday as predicted by NBAdraft.com, then I'm convinced my friend's source is right that we're trading it. Otherwise, I'd guess that the pick will be Jacob Evans. I wouldn't mind that pick. But right now, I'd trade up 2 spots and take Lonnie Walker. I would have loved Zhaire Smith, but always assumed he wouldn't be available for us.

That's what the Spurs do. They end up getting great value picks
