Re: Draft Day Thread
Let's be honest. This is the Wolves. Taking a shooter who can't do much else would have been a disaster because we know they won't shoot well here. Getting a high motor, do a little bit of everything is a solid pick with a much higher floor.

Damn! Musa's gone!

1. Khyrie Thomas
2. Dzanan Musa
3. Jacob Evans
4. Shake Milton
5. Melvin Frazier
6. Devon Hall
7. Diallo
8. Gary Trent Jr.
9. Svi
10. Rawls Alkins
11. Justin Jackson
12. Jevon Carter
13. Kevin Hervey
20 picks left and there is a good chance at least one of those guys left. Diop and that international PG haven't been picked yet and Melton. It's not a need but Devonte Graham is a guy I wouldn't mind at #48.

I agree completely, Kahns. Motor guys who average over 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a block per game at the SG position are the kind of guys this team needs. The fact that he hit 38% of his threes on slightly over 4 attempts per game and 82% from the line suggests he has the potential to be a very good shooter. He's only a sophomore and hasn't even turned 20 years old yet. So I see him improving as a shooter.
Re: Draft Day Thread
Interesting that Khyrie Thomas is still available. I wonder if there's a medical or attitude issue there. He was one of the best shooters AND defenders in college basketball last season. He has excellent length for a SG and his athleticism was decent. Is it just his age? Hard to know. I suspect he'll be taken in one of the first three picks of the second round.
Re: Draft Day Thread
I know a lot of people don't like Grayson Allen but I've always liked him for some reason and seeing him with Donovan Mitchell he just looked so happy and excited. I can't help but look forward to watching the Jazz going forward. I hope Mitchell is up to the task he has really been thrown into the spotlight the last few weeks.

Of all the guys still available as the second round begins, who is the one guy you most want to fall to the Wolves at #48?

Kobe Bryant?

2. Melvin Frazier
3. Shake Milton
4. Gary Trent Jr.
5. Svi
6. Diallo
7. Justin Jackson
8. Devon Hall
9. Rawls Alkins
